Helping Ottawa’s children grow into their potential

This year’s tournament will support the Ottawa Network for Education’s (ONFE) School Breakfast Program. This vital initiative ensures that thousands of children across the city start their day with a nutritious meal. As food costs rise and food insecurity rates increase, the demand for this program continues to grow. We’re proud to support the School Breakfast Program to ensure that children and youth have the energy they need to succeed at school.

Boosting our impact in our community

Capital Prosperity Foundation first partnered with ONFE’s School Breakfast Program in 2020. We committed $225,000 over three years to help ensure that all of Ottawa’s children have access to a nutritious breakfast. This commitment was matched by government funding, which doubled the impact of our fundraising efforts to $450,000. 

Over the past four years, we’ve seen the strain that the COVID-19 pandemic had on the program, which has been further exacerbated by our current economic climate. Therefore, our Board decided to commit an additional $150,000 over the next three years. 

Help make a difference for children and youth

We need our incredible community to help us help children in need. 

At last year’s tournament, you came through and raised an amazing $50,000 for the program. This year, our goal is $70,000.

Event details

This year’s tournament starts bright at early with a hearty breakfast and mimosas at 7:00 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 8:00 a.m. Don’t forget to bid on the auction, with a wide range of exciting items, services and experiences up for bid!

After a round of golf on the lush rolling landscape at Stonebridge, there will be a reception so you can compare scores over cocktails and finger foods. We’ll announce tournament winners and distribute prizes before closing the day.  

The day will wrap up around 3:30 p.m., so you’ll be home in time to enjoy dinner with your family.
