We’re pleased to announce that Capital Integral Charitable Foundation is now Capital Prosperity Foundation (CPF).
Established in 2018 by Ottawa entrepreneur Dan Fried and his team at CI Group of companies, our goal has always been to help children within the community. For the past six years, we’ve focused our fundraising efforts toward the Ottawa Network for Education (ONFE) School Breakfast program. Thanks to our generous donors, we have been able to provide $225,000 per year to the program which provides kids and youth with a nutritious breakfast so they have the energy they need to succeed in school.
In 2024, Dan Fried (CPF President) and Kevin Darling (CPF Chair) met with Andrew Abraham, (CEO, TAAG Corporation) and Bill Ayyad (COO, TAAG Corporation), and learned that “Prosperity” was TAAG’s “big idea”, the alignment between the two organizations was a natural fit. We all believe that true prosperity is about creating a positive ripple effect, supporting our neighbours and building a vibrant community. This synergy inspired our rebrand to Capital Prosperity Foundation, which reflects our commitment to improving the lives of children and families in the National Capital Region.
Now, we’re expanding our programs with an exciting new partnership with the Ottawa Police Service. Visit our Programs & Initiatives page to find out how we’ll be able to reach even more children and families in marginalized neighbourhoods across Ottawa. These exciting new programs will help caregivers put food on the table and buy household necessities, basic furniture and other vital resources.
In this next phase, we will continue to draw guidance from our dedicated Board, hailing from such organizations as:
